Jessica & Frantzdy's Modern White and Gold Wedding at The White Orchid in Miami

On June 6, 2026, Jessica and Frantzdy celebrated their wedding at The White Orchid, a modern blank-canvas venue in the Redland countryside of Miami. They filled that canvas with crisp white, soft blush and warm gold, then added a classic vintage car and a dance floor glowing in purple. The day felt polished, modern and full of personality. Here's how it unfolded through our lens.

Getting Ready

We always start with the details, and these two brought style. Frantzdy's flat lay had glossy black patent shoes with red soles, sleek sunglasses, a watch, cologne and cufflinks. Jessica's details were soft and bright: crystal-strap heels, delicate jewelry, and a pale blue garter and ribbon for a sweet touch of blue.

Frantzdy got ready by the window in a white tuxedo shirt, fastening his cufflinks with a calm, focused look. Jessica was glowing in a lace-trimmed white robe, with soft vintage waves and flawless makeup. Her portrait is one of our favorite frames of the day.

Then the bridesmaids joined her, all in matching blush satin robes and fuzzy slippers, crowding onto a white sofa in front of a deep blue wall. It was relaxed and fun, and the color pairing was beautiful.

The Wedding Party and Portraits

The groomsmen showed up sharp. Frantzdy and his crew lined up in black tuxedos and sunglasses under a dramatic modern concrete canopy, and the architecture made the photo.

Jessica's strapless ballgown had a train long enough to fill the frame. We spread it out across the floor of a sleek modern lobby for a portrait that feels straight out of an editorial.

Outside at The White Orchid, the clean white building, tall cypress trees and manicured green lawn gave us a simple, elegant backdrop. Jessica stood on the grass with her veil and train flowing behind her. Then her bridesmaids joined her in blush gowns along the hedge-lined lawn, a perfect match to their getting-ready robes.

One of our favorite moments came in the late-afternoon light, when Jessica and Frantzdy shared a kiss beside a classic cream vintage car, her veil and train trailing across the pavement. It was timeless, romantic and very them.

The Reception

Inside, the reception was all white and gold: white upholstered chairs, gold-rimmed place settings, glowing candles and white florals, with a draped sweetheart table at the center. Jessica and Frantzdy took a quiet moment together in the room, and the photo shows just how bright and airy the space felt.

Then the lights changed and the party started. Under purple uplighting, Jessica changed into a sparkling second-look gown and hit the dance floor with her guests all around her. The energy in that room was unmatched.

Jessica and Frantzdy, thank you for trusting us with your day. It was an honor to tell your story.

Planning a White Orchid Wedding? Photography Tips

- Use the blank canvas on purpose. A white, modern venue lets your color palette lead. Pick two or three colors, like Jessica and Frantzdy's white, blush and gold, and carry them from the robes to the gowns to the décor so the whole gallery feels cohesive.
- Plan portrait time on the lawn. The white building, cypress trees and hedges make a clean, timeless backdrop. Build a dedicated portrait window into your timeline and aim for late afternoon, when the light is softer.
- Tell your photographer about special arrivals. If you're booking a vintage car or another special ride, share the arrival and departure times so there's time for portraits with it.
- Get the room before the party. Ask for a few minutes in the finished reception room before guests come in, then let your photographer know when the lighting will change for dancing.
- Plan for Miami heat. The Redland is open countryside, so keep outdoor sessions short, have water and blotting papers on hand, and take shade breaks between portrait locations.
